Is driving me insane!!! Has anyone repaired their own by sliding the cable out from the transmission end? I'm trying to avoid taking the dash apart again as the far left-hand vent gives me major troubles every time I do. I just want to clean it, lube it and reinstall it. The local shop said they wanted $58 to do it. No way...
