varyda: I use a Sony FD83 (Old low mega-pixel camera) It's good for quick shots and uploads because it uses diskettes. The other camera is my friend's Nikkon Cool Pic 990. That is one of the best camera's I've ever seen and used. As for settings, I set the shutter speed to minimal, so you get the motion blur effect, otherwise on a high shutter speed, the car will look like it's standing still. Also keeping in mind not to use too low of a shutter speed or there will be too MUCH light in the pic.
