flat black on the upper grill is the way to go.... and believe me, it looks 10X better if you take off the whole bumper and paint everything behind it (rad, and lower support bar or whatever that thing is called that holds the bottom of the rad) flat black while you are at it cause it makes it look really black :thumbup:
