I had the same problem with my 96 odyssey. the srs computer(module) went bad. I traded in the van and never fixed it. It was not required to pass inspection so I drove around with the lite on for at least 6 months. The dangerous part is actually working with the airbags themselves. any stray voltage could trigger them. I did find a module on ebay but even that guy wanted $400. the module on my van was located under the dash near the center console area. it was just an aluminum box maybe 8 x 6 x 1.5 inches. it wasnt marked either. I'm no expert on the replacement but when I looked into doing mine ( b4 i found out the cost) it seemed to be a simple remove and replace job. just disconnect the battery for a while first. but i kno there are expert techs on here who could tell ya what needs to be done.
