i think what eliteaccord is saying is that when you remove the resonator from the airbox, you get the same effect as installing a short ram without spending the money. im sure that a short ram will pull in more air but i always heard that pulling in hot air will actually cause the engine to lose power. thats why they say getting a cold air intake is a much better option. but in my case, since i live in an area that floods whenever a bad storm comes through, cold air intake isnt an option for me. i dont want to be sucking in water.
