The second disk is the Halo 3 Mythic disk.
ODST is the first disk, which is a different game with different modes and types of play. And multplayer. Just no PVP I think. I believe it's all PVC.
I read the full article. The Mythic disc is still part of buying ODST. I'm really only interested in the online multiplayer (PvP). I really don't think I'm alone in this. Do you see yourself actively playing the ODST PVC multiplayer stuff as long and as much as you've played H3? For me, I'd probably play it for a couple of weeks and then go back to exclusively playing PVP.

I think Bungie really dropped the ball by regurgerating all the old maps with only 3 new maps. Like I said before, had these been all new maps w/ some new weapons, I would have bought it. I think they should have kept ODST and the Mythic Maps completely separate since they are totally different from eachother. They obviously did this intentionally to get more sales. I think ODST by itself would be another flop, just like Halo Wars.

I really hope I'm wrong about ODST. I'd love to have another game that I would play as much as I played H3. I just don't see that being the case. I'll probably buy ODST when I can get it cheap off of craigslist.
