and ya know what ... a further thought on all this
this guy is an elected official placed in that house by his peers to voice their opinions and represent their concerns when they themselves are unable to
and i have to say, job well done. he could have chosen a more polite time to do it but ya know what, we cant always be polite and respectful. he felt passionately about what he had to say and he said it and thank god we live in a country where thats a born right of every person here, regardless of whether you live in a box on the street or in a mansion in beverly hills.
it's not our place to punish this man, it's the job of people in his district to decide if his outburst still represents their beliefs and from everything i've read they agree it wasnt the right time but it isnt going to stop them from voting for him again. so kudos to wilson for not being a sheep
i'd love to see them attempt to actually punish him for doing nothing more than speaking his mind
