i went to ireland last year (sept) place is gorgeous. we fly into belfast (spent 1 day, 1 night, due to currency usage of the Pound.) went to the
Giants Causeway and just missed the timing for this rope bridge.
took train to dublin - spent time drinking at the guiness and jameson factories, rented car - drove around saw castles/monestaries/hills on the way to cork - then it was off to shannon (saw more castles/monestaries/hills) - where we stayed next to bunratty castle. took a drive to
cliffs of moher (must see btw) - some where along the way we went to blarney stone to give it an upside down kiss.
this was in a span of about 10 days - i would prolly see scotland next
Were the stairs up to the Blarney Stone super small/rounded/slick or did they install new stairs?
When I kissed it in 1999 the stairs were freakishly small and rounded from the foot traffic.
