then just reach your hand in between the top part and the "seat" part and pull up. kinda hard depending on how long it's been since it was last removed and I'm sure its been a while.

BTW what are you wanting to do once you remove the seat?
gotcha, looks like it's gonna have to wait until next weekend before I can get my system up and running again. I live in an apartment and I don't want to do the install in the parking lot for all to see. Im adding an amp, upgrading my power wire, installing an eq and a distribution block. I did most of the work yesterday at my job, inside the building of course. Today it was pretty cold out and I left the trim part that the stereo goes in at work :doh:
