It's funny to watch the response from everyone on this though. The Dems are praising him as a great man, stating that "healthcare for all" was his lifelong goal. I wouldn't be suprised to see them push for the current healthcare reform in his name now. The Reps are saving face, making statements like "he was a worthy opponent" and "He was a good friend even though we didn't agree on policy". In reality they're like :hi5: "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead!"

Edit: This morning my carpool buddy, who is pretty much middle of the road politically (voted for Obama) asked "Do you think they're making a big deal about Senator Kennedy because he did so much or because he was a Kennedy?" I just answered: "B".
