Owners of new Civic Si, happy or not?
My brother has finally saved up enough cash to put down a down payment on a car around 18-20k max. He's thinking of investing in the new Civic Si but after reading many negative reviews (its got great ergonomics but the performance sux) we want to see what current owners think. Is it really as slow as they say? We've seen 0-60 times quoted in mags from 7.4-7.6, and while speed isn't everything its a factor. Other cars he's considering are a Mazdaspeed Protege, Hyundai Tiburon GT V6, Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, and possibly (dare I say it) a Focus SVT. So current owners, any opinions on your car? And also, if you're not satisifed and could do it over, which car would you have chosen instead?
