what you say is theoretically true but you don't account for humans being humans. After we work out, we feel hungry( at least any normal person would be) since you just exerted energy so your body tries to compensate but telling your brain you need more food. So what does average person do? He/she goes and eats and not just eat, but eat a lot.
that's where
true motivation and self control comes in.
these people should be having a protein shake or eating some chicken breast and a salad or something instead of stuffing their face with sugar, sweets, bad carbs, etc
