1. Pickup a haynes manual ($20)

2. Get a head gasket replacement kit, coolant and oil change items. ($150)

3. take off the head and bring it to a machine shop to be resurfaced ($150)
*the machine shop may or may not redo the valves for you. If not you can attempt it yourself or bring it to a shop when you are done for it to be professionally done.

4. Follow the manual step by step and put it back together

5. Tell the shop charging ($1200) that we are in a recession and they inspired you to do it yourself
