I think 2 is a great number. 1 you get only child syndrome, 3 you get the left out child. 2 is a great number.

I would prefer 2 boys, but also would be great with an older son to protect his little sister.

My brother has three girls...the way our family works though is one side gets girls the other boys...so maybe I get boys.
