I was under the impression that they can only call people for jury duty that are registered to vote. How were you registered to vote when you aren't a citizen? Or is it that non-citizens only don't get to vote for president? I'm confused about that.
I don't know how it works in other states but in CA they just use DMV records. Thus anyone with a drivers license and of age can be called. I was called for jury duty at least 4 times in the 10 years or so I was of age and not a citizen.
as for voting, if you aren't a citizen you can't vote period.
