MFB, the vagueness is not really the problem. The problem is that when they mail these questionaires out to people, they just list problems. Then JDP takes the problems and ads them up and gets an average per 1000 cars...but it does not tell you if there was a recurring, very minor problem or if the fawking engine blows up. It also doesn't differentiate between different categories of problems. But this is at least a decent idea of how reliable cars are...shocked to see Infiniti so high.
