Bleed the system perhaps. I don't know what year sentra you have, but the older ones were just dummy lights. It didn't have an actual sensor that monitored coolant temps. It just had a sensor once it reached a certain degree of temperature it just aid "hot".

Perhaps the newer ones actually monitor the temps.

I'd bleed the system once for peace of mind.
