Default Trans Fat: and Zero trans fat marketing.

There is a post about butter, and hydrogenated oil's.
So i would like to post a topic with info about Trans fat, and food that says its "Trans Fat Free" or, "Zero Grams Trans Fat"

Any food that you buy, that has hydrogenated oil in the list of Ingredients has trans fat. Yes, it is legal to have hydrogenated oil (trans fat) in your food and market that item as Trans fat free.

foods containing hydrogenated oils may be labeled trans-fat free, or list 0g trans fats on the label. First, items that list partially hydrogenated oils in the ingredients but contain less than 0.5g of trans fats are considered by the government to be trans-fat free. A good example of this would be commercial peanut butter, which contains a tiny amount of partially hydrogenated oil to prevent separation.
Any item that has hydrogenated oil's in it, really in my eye should not be consumed.
thanks for reading.
