company phones are pretty much all blackberry 8820 world editions, nobody need an upgrade yet so no storm or bold as of yet
my laptops about 3 years old and im getting close to an upgrade, but right now new lappys are T60 series and for the most part we have a say in what hardware we want/need

we just spent like close to a mil here a couple months ago putting all new cisco routers in our retail stores just so it would be easier to RDP into them for us and so we could see them on network and so they can use warehouse phone extensions like everyone else instead of having to know actual numbers

for the most part its a price vs need thing around here ... usually if i need or want something i get it simply because my work is some of the more resource intensive stuff thats done. everyone else in the office the most resources they use are excel or RDP into a server box and work off that machine
