I did my passenger side wheel bearing. I took the a arm completely off, and took it to a machine shop and had them press in a new bearing. My bearing scourched up my hub so the new bearing wouldn't seat well. I had to buy a new hub too. It cost me $30 for labor, and parts which I was luckly able to get at cost.
I know you need a hydraulic press to put the bearing in. I don't know how much pressure and so forth. That was my passenger side, which I did in the summer. I hear an odd noise with the same symptons as before and I have a feeling it's time for me to do my driver side bearing. I'm probably gonna hit that up on Saturday. Anyways I'm not looking forward to it, but I'm gonna take that opportunity to remove my exhaust shields under the car for some more weight reduction. :bigok:
