I think its fair given her work schedual and hours.

If the house is in your name/apt lease in your name...you should have primary responsibility of making sure the mortgage/rent is paid.

If thats the case I think it's fair the woman pays utilities, and possibly even groceries.

We already discussed that when we decide to move in/marriage etc that we will both just toss our checks into one account and then pay our bills/mortgage/entertainment. I don't get all this talk about people taking out more than they put in, once you are a married couple/family I think it is a bit redic. to care who makes more. Why wouldn't you just discuss major purchases with one another and not give a fuck about the little shit as long as it fit into the overall view of the budget?
