as others have asked if you pump the brakes a few times and then hold the pedal does it fall to the floor(slowly or quickly?). did you bench bleed the MC before installing it? if you have a haynes book, there are like 4 different procedures you can try in order to troubleshoot different brake issues. go through each one of those and report back anything you find.
