Good points in the rest of your post...but again, it all comes down to marketing. Keep in mind this car has little in common with the USDM Accord outside of its interior. Everything rests on if Honda markets this as an upmarket Accord, a sporty Accord, a compact luxury sedan, a sporty luxury sedan...I can go on and on. But Honda would NOT bring this model over if they didn't have 100% confidence in it. Not to mention they have little to lose by bringint this over as a USDM model...but when was the last time Honda designed a product that was a failure?
