WTH...after your car slammed down...did it rebound back up? I'm assuming it did...but there must have been SOMETHING that caused it...
All I know about blown shocks are...you get a LOT of movement before the shock settles after every inconsistency in the road...meaning your car will feel bouncy/springy and at times a bit boaty. This is VERY bad for your handling and tires. Is your car lowered on stock shocks? How many miles?
