Default I know, ?WTF Swap? i have questions

i've looked around at the FAQ's/forums before posting to make sure this topic isnt already posted, if it is, i apologize. i have a 99 Si (USDM) that spun a rod bearing and burnt a valve or two. while i am rebuilding it, i will have to use a 96 B18B1 i had in my garage. is there anything special i need to do as far as wiring/ecu? its been several years since i was swapping Honda motors and im a bit rusty. i know i need a new ecu, im pretty sure my harness is setup for OBD2B and the 96 LS is a OBD2A. will any 96+ P75 work and i have extra plugs on my Si harness that arent on the LS, would it be better to get a LS harness or press on with what i have? i wont be making a LS Vtec, plan on rebuilding the Si either back to stock or modding the engine down the road. any other suggestions/advice on what i may have missed would be greatly appreciated
