i do hate the dirty and lazy guys. i guess i'll back off on lebron. i liked his postgame interviews.

just like in the car world, i'll always give credit where its due. when i watch the lakers with a bunch of so-called lakers fans, they get mad when i cheer for the other team. i'll cheer whereever i think the cheering is deserved.

i paid a good chunk of money to get some 8th row seats to watch the lakers play the 76ers on March 17. when igoudala made that last buzzer beater, i clapped and cheered. yeah i was pissed, but you know what, the 76ers deserved that win. phil jackson even said it in the postgame interviews "we had to try real hard to lose that game, and we did".

my coworker here made a good point about how a lot of laker fans suck. they show up to the game late, and leave the game early, even if they're winning. when they're at the game, they dont even cheer that loud. they go to the game to be seen. when they lose, they get mad at them. in my opinion, a true fan is just happy to watch them play. if we win a championship, no need to trash talk the other teams, be a good sportsman and give the credit where its due. if we dont make it, cheer for the team that deserves it most. i cant stand how if the lakers get eliminated (like the have in recent years), the socalled laker fans dont even watch the rest of the teams play.

then i told teh gf (a self proclaimed die hard laker fan) that and she got all mad. then what happened when they were losing to houston, she turned the tv to another channel. i was like "see, if you were a REAL laker fan, you'd watch them lose." she gets mad when she gets owned.

i enjoy a lot of pro sports, i just try to remain neutral. non of that "since i live in (fill in your local hometown), i'm going to cheer for that team til I die" mentality.

if both of these Game 1's are indicators of whats to come, then damn. my blood pressure is gonna shoot up like crazy.
