That's pretty much it. I want one and i was like 8 or 9 when i found out I had cat allergies and honestly it was only 1 time. But I go over friends houses that have cats and I never have any allergic reactions when i'm over there.

I want a cat but i'm going to do what some suggested here, first being spending time with the cat i want at the place to see if i'm allergic to it, if so then i'll see what kind of reaction i have to it, if it's just sneezing and watery eyes then that's pretty mild and i'm sure claritin or something along that nature will help out.
