We were looking into that. There are some awesome pluses though.
If I were to sponsor a snorkeling trip for someone goign to Australia, I would love to have a picture of them enjoying the snorkeling trip knowing that I helped them get that, rather than a waffle maker that would probably either get used once or returned. There can be more meaning behind the honeymoon registry. My gripe with them is they cost like $75 to set up.
I always joked that we were going to register at Chase Bank, but THAT is tacky as all hell.
