all of our accounts are joint now, but she still puts money in her account she had before marriage and i put my money in mine. and then we have hsbc where we both put some savings into. we dont necessarily pay half, but we both pay certain bills. none of our CCs are joint, and we pay our own CC bills. but we both know how much money we have total. and we almost always talk about purchases we're going to make that are at least a couple hundred dollars.
