I have a few questions for a unfortunate/upcoming Head Gasket removal and replacement. It is on a 1991 civic dx which I believe is a D15B2 engine...

-What all needs to essentially be removed. ie. Intake man, Exhaust man, coolant hoses, sensors, spark plugs, valve cover, spark plug wires, upper timing cover.? WHAT ELSE?

-What all do I buy, ie OEM head gasket (someone mentioned a Z6 one for a little higher compression?) head bolts? gaskets?

-Also check head / block for warpage..

I am just wondering and I can not find a DIY step by step for this, and in my opinion Helms/Chiltons do not cover it all..
