without the UAW all of the United States auto makers would be viable and profitable. It is hard to turn a profit when you are paying a high school drop out the same salary to put on a bumper as the engineer who designed the car. Everybody wants the american dream without working for it, and the UAW provides just that. I'm sorry but if you didn't finish school and can't find anything "better" than you shouldn't make fucking 80k a year. If you are strictly labor force your income should reflect upon it. Fuck the UAW for what it has done to my state.
