If it's not a wide band it's probably a 4 wire. It's taking longer because the heater circuit isn't working properly. Check the ECM for codes OR(on a factory O2 sensor) probe the two BLACK wires for +12vdc(DO NOT PROBE THE WHITE AND GREEN ONES UNLESS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE DOING-THIS WILL DAMAGE THE SENSOR). The O2 sensor actually makes its own signal voltage from a chemical reaction in the sensor. If it's a 2 wire, replace the sensor. Hope this helps.
