this is the kind of sense that HAN has lacked for as long as I have lurked here... everybody dogs the fuck out of people in unfortunate situations but never has the fortitude to recognize that bad shit can happen, even to good people.
would I agree that the friend fucked up really bad? yeah, hell yeah I would... he made a whole series of bad decisions that night... but to imply that he is a piece of shit based on these bad decisions speaks volumes about the people saying it.
I challenge anybody here to honestly say that they have never gotten in their car when they probably shouldnt have... alcohol, drugs, lack of sleep, whatever... this could have happened to any one of us.
The difference between me and what I did behind the wheel of a vehicle and what he did behind the vehicle is that my decision didn't cost anyone their life. If my decision had cost someone their life aside from my own then I too would be a piece of shit who should be gang raped and shanked.
Don't think I play favorites when it comes to this shit because I don't in the least.
