this is the kind of sense that HAN has lacked for as long as I have lurked here... everybody dogs the fuck out of people in unfortunate situations but never has the fortitude to recognize that bad shit can happen, even to good people.

would I agree that the friend fucked up really bad? yeah, hell yeah I would... he made a whole series of bad decisions that night... but to imply that he is a piece of shit based on these bad decisions speaks volumes about the people saying it.

I challenge anybody here to honestly say that they have never gotten in their car when they probably shouldnt have... alcohol, drugs, lack of sleep, whatever... this could have happened to any one of us.
i see where ur coming from, but i dont think ur quite understanding what sinthetiq is saying too.

i agree in sticking by a friend when they make a mistake, big or small. But that doesnt mean i wouldnt call my friend a piece of shit for it either. hell yeah i would call them by watever the fuck i want to call them. but i would also hope my friend would learn from the mistake, especially if the price to learn, cost someone else their life. it doesnt mean i would "un-friend" them for it.

however, venting on an internet forum is one thing. seeking condolence and whatnot on an internet forum is another. so wat if everyone on a forum talks shit? or, so wat if everyone on a forum praises and sides with u? at the end of the day, when it comes down to it, it doesnt fucking matter. its only the fucking internet with people you dont know. u might think u know them, but without the "real life human contact" aspect, aint shit on the internet that truly means anything. people these days confuse the meanings for "friends" and "acquaintances". the "online friends" that you've never met in person, for the most part wont/cant do shit if something goes down. how the fuck could they? they live in a completely different state/country. how many people would be willing to drive/fly hundreds and hundreds of miles to back up a person theyve never met??? sure people might meet others online and become friends, but theyve established that "real life human contact" in person once they meet up. internet ppl for the most part dont mean shit.

i could care less what flyromeo says/defends about his friend. he's that dood's friend. not me. i'll talk shit about his friend because thats who did the fuck up in this story. whether flyromeo backs his friend or not, doesnt mean shit to me. at the end of the day, his friend fucked up and is a douchebag for trying to run after literally killing a guy.

and to answer the last question about if we've ever risked other ppl's lives before? yeah i did. i knew very well that if i got into an accident or watever happens cuz i fucked up, then i fucked up and its my fault. i wouldnt expect my friends to say "oh hes a good guy. it wasnt completely his fault. blah blah blah." fuck yeah it was my fault if i hurt someone else cuz i was drunk driving. its my fault, so ill take the heat for it. i dont expect my friends to bail on me and ditch me, but at the same time, i wouldnt expect them to "defend" me in my wrongdoings. if thats the case, fuckheads will never learn from their mistakes. its more meaningful when u receive criticism from ur friends than a stranger. if my friends told me to stop being an asshole, i would take their opinion in high consideration. if a stranger told me that, id just sock him. motherfuckers these days need to learn to take full responsibility for their actions. intended or unintended. even if the delivery guy on the bike was drunk too and riding on the street, so wat? it doesnt "remove" any of the blame from the drunk driver. it just makes it so that theyre both fucking retards.
