Fuel pump overheating?
Hey guys, been having some problems lately and can't figure out what is going on.
92 civic b16a swap (bolt on mods only), 10 years running strong about 70k miles.
Had the fuel pump went out in 2005
In 2008 whenever the car would get to around 1/8th of a tank car would struggle for gas. Whenever on highway for long periods of time car would struggle at 3/4 tank.
2009 With summer kicking in, after about 20 minutes of city driving car struggles for gas and can not be driven.
Fuel Filter is clean.
I took it to my mechanic but he didn't have the tools to check my fuel pressure... didn't charge me... he thinks it could be the main fuse relay or the pump.
Given the evidence, should I just order a pump and have him install it? And should I buy a fuel pump for a del sol?
