Default 2000 civic Si

My wife and I are looking at a 2000 FBP Si a customer of mine has for sale. It's got 95,000 miles, 4 new tires, perfect alignment, very clean inside and out. We know we'll have to do the timing belt soon. She's asking $5500, which is what she paid a few months ago for it. I want to offer $5000.

We plan on having it as our second car (also have a 92 Integra LS with 231k miles as our daily). The two of us carpool because it's cheaper gas wise, but there are some days we do need a 2nd reliable car.

Is there anything in particular to look for? Does $5000 sound fair for a 9 year old Si? Any other input or opinions would be appreciated.
