If you're talking about CARB legality, intakes get CARB EOs, exhausts do not. The primary function of an exhaust is to quiet the gases as they exit the engine. They have nothing to do with emissions. The catalytic converter takes care of emissions.

For strange reasons, on my old motor, I couldn't pass inspection with a short ram intake... however once I swapped my factory airbox on, I passed. :dunno:
BTW, are those the inakes that 'look' like intercoolers? :chuckles:
