You have frame damage? You would be better off trying to straighten it out...I'm surprised your car wasn't written off as totalled...most insurance companies usually do.
The xbar would definitely strengthen your rear, but I'm thinking the bent frame will still give you quirky handling characteristics. You may as well save up for a rollcage (with removable x-brace)
