so the restaurant my friend works at, where i was supposed to get a small job at is pretty sketchy.

met with the owner a couple weeks ago, he was 45 minutes late. three minute "interview".
last week, my friend tells me i'm hired. i don't hear anything from the owner, i don't hear anything about when to come in or anything.
today, my friend tries to cash his paycheck at a local grocery store and they say they won't cash them anymore because too many of them have bounced.
right before he abruptly hangs up on me, he says 'oh yeh, you were supposed to work today, but i forgot to tell you'.
