although i agree about picking an M3 instead and manual over automatic, the manumatics in the newer AMG benzes are badass too. if u like the smg in the bmws, ull like the benz's too. holds gears all the way just like manuals, theyre dual clutch, and they shift quick.
the C63 isn't a manumatic, though. It has a torque converter, so it's just and automatic with paddle shifters....and it doesn't shift quickly, there's quite a noticeable and annoying delay when you click the paddles. I think the '10 model is gonna have the new dual clutch transmission, though.
Either way, I still prefer a straight up manual over an "F1" style transmission.
