My overarching point was that generalizations and pragmatic dogma come from all walks of life: religion, politics, etc. For reno to try and make a point to my issue by limiting his issue to strictly conservative bashing just illustrates my point.
actually, my point was the following:
it's frustrating as hell when i or someone else creates a thread that criticizes some political action or agenda, whatever it may be, and it's almost immediately met with, "omfg, stop crying about it.. isn't there a forum for this? lib bashing again
blah blah"
but nearly every time anything regarding religion is posted, it becomes a free for all, "brainwashing idiots.. sheep.. what good did religion ever do.. f- them.." and other such ignorant statements.
so what's the frustration? i can't post criticism lest i be crucified, but mindlessly trashing religion just goes on and on. it blows my mind.
