Default Front end noise after CV replacement

Dealer said my CV boots were split on my 98 Accord, so I went to a reputable
independent shop to have the CV axles replaced with new non-OEM
units. They drove fine until later backing out I noticed the front
end making a sharp pop, snap, or knock noise on a sharp turn with
acceleration. It doesn't repeat, it just sounds once or twice on the
acceleration.

I looked under the car and from what I could see of the outer CV
boots, they looked sealed and fine. Are the boots breaking in or do I
need to return to the shop ASAP?

Thanks.

solved:

the noise comes from the tranny when shifting from forward to reverse or vice versa. supposedly, that's due to normal tranny wear.
