I don't have a stock grill to put them behind, I have an LX. Im gonna put in my Kenwood DualMags and see how they sound with a competent amp running them and the eq/line driver to tweak the frequencies a bit. I might not have to add separate tweeters cause when I had the DualMags in my Civic running off a cheap-o-special Koiiler amp, it sounded sweet. I can only imagine it's gonna sound even better w/a Soundstream Reference 414S and Clarion EQS560 in the loop:naughty:

True, the tweeters should be close to the mid... but the top of the door is not too far away.

The stock grille I was talking about is the grille in the door... that guy mounted the tweeter just above it, and I meant if the tweeters are going to be that low, just drop them another 2 inches and put them behind the door grille.



bassmechanic has a good idea... that panel just dosent look like it belongs in that car.
