it is part of the islamic religion to give and not brag. it is 1 of the 5 pilars of islam to give money to charity. it should be given to people around you at first(family) and then to others. like i said if you are really interested the Aga khan fundation has a great internationnal reconition. The leader is reconized/respected by all the world leaders.
I to be honest i'm really not that interested about how a man killed his wife. It's something that happens all the time in this world. The problem is when it gains additionnal coverage because the man killing her is Muslim. obviously being muslim doesn't mean you are a good person. Just like in any groups you have the goods and the bad and the in betweens.
I'll be happy to open up #2 any time. In fact, I've gotta go take a #2 right about now so I might open that one up without you...
But the founder of The Bridge's TV station who opened up shop who "founded Bridges TV in November 2004 to counter anti-Islam stereotypes" beheading his wife really didn't do his job now did he?
I'll check out Aga Khan. I know that doing a good deed and then talking about it is lacking in humility, and pretty much erases the deed... but when the people purporting to dispel stereotypes are committing the most heinous of crimes (they're trying to dispel) right here in the US, I think a certain amount of PR would be good for Islam at this point. But I'm just one of several hundred million Americans. Everyone knows we're scum already so my opinion doesn't matter. Plus, I'm the only one who pays attention when innocent people die, right?
