I have a b18a1(OBD1) block with a b18b1 Head (OBD2) and on the b18b1 the pvc hose connects to a black box under the manifold. There is a hole on the manifold that the pvc connects to. Atleast thats how my old 94 4dr ls was. I say just plug it up and leave it how it is. You will know if your pvc was bad cause your idle on your car will be going crazy.
