your charging voltage is good but if the cells is your battery are unable to hold and maintain a charge, then it drains easy, your light gets dimmer etc.
however, its unclear on how you described your cars problem. did it cutoff on you while you are driving or is it a parked car and not start problem?

best thing to do is clean your battery and terminal posts and tighten up the connections. then try it again.
