Sorry doood, but they don't. If you jam it in the sockets, then maybe. But the little tabs that stick out of an 1156 bulb are even while the tabs on an 1157 bulb have one higher and one lower. There are bulbs that were stock on the car and they weren't 1157.
I thought it was like a 39XX or something like that. Basically the bulb did not portrude like an hourglass. Just a straight bulb. But I don't see a reason why an 1157 bulb wouldn't work. He must have different sockets on the car.
thats wierd...cuz they slipped right into mine? :dunno: i even lined up the tab. (thats when i knew i picked up the wrong one [1156] )
