Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are hoping you’ll be able to help them identify the man who had his photo captured by a customer testing out a camera; the suspect is accused of stealing a $2,500 camera from the Circuit City in Carousel Center.

Police say the camera was stolen Thursday evening, just before 6pm.

When police looked back at the security camera of the video of the guy stealing the camera, they noticed someone in the same aisle testing out another camera and pointing it in the same direction as the thief.

The camera still had the photos saved on it.

The man, shot by the customer testing another camera, is accused of stealing a $2,500 Nikon camera from the store.
