Rooster, you got it backwards. The B18C1 head has the smaller combustion chambers, resulting in a higher compression. IMO, the Type R head isn't worth the money people want for it, when you could just go find a bare b16 head for CHEAP, get a nice p&p job and new internals, and voila you have a better head than the ITR....or you could even do that with a GSR head but they are harder to find.
