Well the government didn't do what you feared and hasn't done that to Americans because they wouldn't stand for it. So your "worry" was a little unfounded, but you have the freedom as an American to worry about that.
This is 3 days into the Obama presidency, that's his Chief Economic Advisor. These people are just getting started with labeling and segregating our society's demographics by legislating restrictions on equality (not blurring the lines I was talking about). What's it going to be like in the 3rd year? The way these people -representing the Democratic party- on Capitol Hill are talking, I will need to trade in my white maled-ness for a black woman in order to be treated as an equal, no matter how much taxes I'll be forced to pay. Last I heard, the recession was affecting everybody. Reich needs to be fired immediately.
